Dover String Quartet With Leon Fleisher

The Peoples’ Symphony Concerts, an essential series that has been bringing top artists to New York audiences at affordable prices for over a century, presents the excellent and fast-rising Dover String Quartet, which was formed at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia in 2009 when its members were just 19. The quartet will play works by Schubert and Bach. Then the eminent pianist Leon Fleisher joins the ensemble for a rarity: Korngold’s Suite for Piano Left-Hand, Two Violins and Cello. — ANTHONY TOMMASINI
